About Us
Our story can be backdated to when each of us decided to move from Brazil to Canada, however that woud be too long and boring! Nevertheless, our Club began back in 2021 in British Columbia, Canada. The idea came up during a road trip that happened on the Spring of 2021. At that time, just a bunch of Brazilian friends who either already owned 4x4 rigs and some still owned AWD SUVs. We made a Loop Camping Trip from Harrison Hot Springs, through FSR all the way up to Pemberton camping while driving around.
Gui “Rambo” Dwyer had sold his SUV, and tagged along with Fernando “Wolf” Lobo. During the drive they talked about their 4x4 experiences back in Brazil and the adventures and epic views that Beautiful British Columbia offers. Eventually, starting making plans on how to gather Brazilians and make a solid community of Offroaders with Brazilian Roots. On that trip we also had another Founding Member participating, Bruno “Clandestino” Brauer. Some on that trip are members of the Club!
On the Following year, around spring, a huge BBQ was organized by the club. We decided to go to a spot where AWD SUVs would manage to go in order to have open invitation to “recruit” more offroading enthusiast. The Cult was born! You probably heard the jargon in the BC Offroad Community, SAFETY SECOND... well, that is because CHURRASCO IS FIRST (Churrasco = BBQ). On that BBQ held at East Harrison, we reunited close to 60 Brazilians and a few Canadians as well. It became a well know event in the Brazilian Community, and a tradition to our Club. So far every year we have been promoting similar events.
After that first trip, and through a somewhat big outdoor enthusiast community on Facebook, we met another two enthusiasts that would become the “founding fathers” of the club together with the three mentioned above. Reymir “Rey” Savaris and Thiago “Tches” Sousa. A few wheeling adventures with these guys inviting other enthusiasts they met through Facebook Communities or Friends of Friends led the group to gow.
Mission: To promote adventure and camaraderie among off-road enthusiasts from Brazil living in British Columbia, fostering a community that explores the beauty of nature while prioritizing safety, sustainability, and responsible driving.
Vision: To be the leading Brazilian 4x4 club in Canada, recognized for our commitment to adventure, environmental stewardship, and the enhancement of off-road experiences. We aspire to create a vibrant community that inspires new members and encourages exploration on diverse landscapes with 4x4 vehicles.
